Pastor Ken Casillas grew up in the Caribbean in a missionary family. He came to Christ as a boy and later sensed God's calling into a ministry of the Word. He received his ministerial training at Bob Jones University and Seminary, where he completed a Ph.D. in Old Testament Interpretation in 2001. Prior to coming to Cleveland Park, he was involved in various local church ministries. He also led short-term mission trips to several Spanish-speaking countries.

In addition to shepherding our church, Pastor Casillas teaches on the BJU Seminary faculty. He and his wife Soraya have five children: Daniel, Joshua, Anna Grace, and twins Abigail and Samuel.
